1) FREE PUPPY/DOG
Guardian receives a Puppy/Dog at NO-CHARGE that is Vet certified, Microchipped, UTD on all shots, vaccinations and de-wormed. A $200.00 one-time Services fee is required, that will returned to Guardian and is to be used toward expenses (spay/neuter/etc.) for transfer of ownership at completion of contract.
2) PUPPY/DOG OWNERSHIP
Breeder owns the Puppy/Dog during the Contract period (7 years old). Guardian owns the Puppy/Dog after Contract completion.
3) BREEDING RIGHTS / SPAY / NEUTER REQUIRMENTS
Breeder retains exclusive breeding rights for the Dog until the Dog reaches 7 years of age. The Dog will then be required to be spayed/neutered, unless other arrangements are made, and Guardian will become the owner at that time.
4) GUARDIAN RESPONSIBILITIES
Guardian is responsible for all Dog care, veterinary expenses, food, treats, crates, supplies, etc. Basically, Guardian is responsible for everything except for any expenses related to reproduction health and breeding.
Guardian is responsible to inform Breeder immediately when the Dog comes into a heat cycle / estrus (if Female).
Guardian is responsible to transport the Dog back to Breeder within 5 days of start of heat cycle (if Female) or upon request (if Male), and for any expenses related to this transportation and/or return transportation. After breeding (about 7-10 days), Guardian can take the Dog home. The Dog (if Female) will be required to return to Breeder 7 days prior to the earliest expected delivery/whelping date and will remain with with Breeder until approximately 7 weeks after delivery date.
Guardian must feed Breeder-approved dog food (minimum 4-star rated food on dogfoodadvisor.com).
5) GUARDIAN COMPENSATION
Guardian will be financially compensated for each successful litter! If Male Guardian Dog, $100 per puppy born (litters with a minimum of 2 pups), up to a maximum of $500 per litter. If Male is used for outside Stud service, compensation is $200.00 per breeding period. If Female Guardian Dog, 15 percent (usually $225-300 per puppy) of final sale price of sold puppies in litter (litters with a minimum of 2 pups).
6) BREEDER RESPONSIBILITIES
Breeder is responsible for any expenses related to reproductive health, breeding, whelping, litter care, genetic testing and breeding license requirements.
7) SIGNED CONTRACT REQUIRED
A Contract is required to be signed by Guardian and Breeder which states the exact terms of the HOPE HILL DOODLES LLC Guardian Home Program agreement.
Note that, if different, the information listed above is superseded by the information contained in the signed Contract.
